“Question how you are farming, be open to change and plan” says Allan Savory student, Tim Wright

Tim with his brother took over his father’s farm just before the major drought in the early 80’s. Tim did training at Orange and learnt to question and be open minded about change. So he was and went to hear a talk from Stan Parsons about Holistic management. He then realised he needed a plan and went to Yeppoon for further training organised by RCS.
Tim quotes Allan Savory:
“Over grazing, over stocking and over populating is not the problem rather it is the conventional decision making processes used by government organisations and individuals that doesn’t provide a framework to manage natural ecosystems”
