A major regional event focussing on healthy soils for increased productivity and biological health. A number of leading natural resources, community and industry organisations are hosting the inaugural 2012 South West Soils Conference, bringing together the physical, chemical and biological elements of soil for the first time in this region. Headlining the conference are some of Australia and New Zealand’s leading soil health experts covering topics ranging from Visual Soil Assessments, the latest agricultural soil testing methods and biological groups in soils.
Keynote speakers include Graham Shepherd, Director of Bioagrinomics, Graham Lancaster, Director of the Environmental Analysis Laboratory (EAL) at Southern Cross University and Dr Damian Bougoure, Research Scientist, Biosciences Research Division, Department of Primary Industries.
