Dr Christine Jones, B.Sc. PhD who has a doctorate in soil biochemistry from the University of New England and many years experience working with landholders across Australia, will explain the process of soil carbon sequestration and outline some simple steps that landholders can take to activate soil building processes, hence alleviating many of the symptoms of soil decline, including structural problems, acidification and reduced nutrient cycling.
Restoring the function of topsoil is all about management.
